I had a very good experience with Smart Furniture. I bought a luxury leather arm chair there. Selection at the store was very diverse, but still their offer was pretty unique on local furniture market. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. They have pretty girls working there too!
I also had my armchair delivered. It wouldn't fit through door to my basement, so the delivery guys quickly took the chair in two pieces, brought down, and put it together. Very professional and quick.
Thumbs up!

When I came to visit Toronto, my friends recommended me to pay a visit to the store "Our Furniture". I was surprised to see such a big variety of different furniture for a reasonable price. They delivered the furniture on time, in Montreal! I was really happy about the service, they were very affable! I will definitely come again on my next visit to Toronto.

I received very bad service with Barracuda on Parliament. I would not take the time to write this otherwise. They agreed to frame a picture for me and they not only did not provide me with a frame on the date they agreed but they stained the picture I was needing framed. There was no apology. My picture, an original print, was ruined.

I purchase furniture from New Welco Furniture
mart and the delivery was the worst I have
ever received. The packing was left all over my front lawn, the items was incomplete and
the company refuse to deliver the balance of
my furniture, I almost had to call the police to get them to leave my property.I will never
deal with them again.

Trendline Furniture is over priced furniture, that does not stand up to normal usage/ware. Their service department is not helpful. Better off to buy cheap off shore furniture where you know will have to replace it, not like trendline furniture that you believe are buying quality furniture, since it is made locally. Well you would be wrong. Stay away.

Went in to purchase a sofa set. Was disgusted to hear a tall lanky sales person w/ glasses tell another customer that unless they spent 20k or more, they couldn't really do anything for them. A short while I heard him belittling his mother in front of other customers. I took this as a warning sign indicative of the service i can only imagine they provide. I turned around and walked out completely put off by this behaviour.

If you want authentic Italian furniture, look elsewhere. This company buys fine China furniture. Service extremely poor. Owner Richard belittles his Mom in front of customers. Also has no qualms about tellin g you that unless you're spending 20k and up, you'll get nothing from them. They also demand pmt in full before you even inspect their furniture. Been over a month and i'm still waiting for them to fix my furniture. One place you are guaranteed the ring-around. Reporting to the BBB.

Leons customer follow-up is complete crap!!! I bought a sofa and loveseat and they arrived damaged. Holes in the leather on the seat area, cuts on the sides and loose stitching. The stuffing in the cushions were minimal so I sank into them. I paid $2500 for both (Natuzzi's Italsofa). I called and they replaced them the next week with other defective ones. The delivery guys even cut the sofa with their box cutter. They left and said you have 3 days to complain! I am still waiting 3 weeks later!

Pretty satified with my purchase experience with Real Time Furniture. After seeing them on craigslist, went to visit showroom. Ordered a king bed based on online photo. The bed received 1 week later
was not exact-padded headboard fabric is in a microfibre instead of pu material. Rep offered me options or free delivery if we went with existing bed. We went with the microfibre bed afterall and are extremely happy with the quality of the bed and service follow thro overall. I'd buy from them again

Words of caution...DON'T BUY FROM REALTIMEFURNITURE!! Ordered a bed after searching through their website and looking through their showroom. Website had the incorrect picture of bed, so do not trust images for placing orders. Ordered bed after clarifying with rep that it needs to be received within a specific timeframe as I would be leaving the country. Received a call 1 week later telling me they wont even know if the bed will be in stock at the pre-determined time of delivery! Attempted to cancel order, but realtimefurniture will not provide refunds. Initially agreed to refund visa, but went back on word and would only provide store credit. Buyer beware, terrible customer service, misleading policies, and absolutely unwilling to honour commitments. Worst furniture shopping experience ever.

Nice stuff - but DON'T SHOP HERE! THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN TORONTO! Paid full $$ & deposit, $5k for sofa & hutch. The inv. does state delivery could take 8-12 wks, @ 10wks, we were rudely reminded that the inv says 8-12 wks. Not a single courtesy call to apologize/explain the delay. "Stuff happens" but tell your customers! The sofa arrivd @ 16 wks. The hutch arrived, damaged, @ 18 wks and now 3 mos after delivery we're still seeking replacement or compensation for damage.

Hausenbarn in Mississsauga has the worst customer service in all of the GTA. The "owner" - blonde and RUDE -she her took my order over the phone with my credit card. There was a miscomunication about the number of counter stools I ordered. I ordered 2 stools. When I went to the store to pick these up, she told me my 3 stools were ready. I explained that I only ordered 2 stools - she proceeded to argue with me after putting through the transaction, refused to return the stool and ordered me out.

Dear Julia,
On the first page of our website we state that: We'll try to have almost all GTA's Furniture Stores in our directory, searchable by location. However only Stores that became Members in the ATF Directory will have a Profile Page, Map Link, Website Link, Flyer and Coupon and will be searchable using Search Parameters on top of the page. We offer a free trial membership, however the store owners are too busy to provide the info we need.

Sorry to be a grouse - but - I could not find one store using your search engine with criteria. No matter what I typed, I got 0 hits. Example: Took Downtown (Toronto) for location, refined search category Dining, style Antique - no stores with that criteria - yeah right.
Back to Google.

I was disappointed to see that my response to complaints about Pavilion was removed by?.
I am the Weekend Manager at this store and the parties that complain do not have valid complaints, sorry to say that! I could address the complaints again, but suffice it to say that if any of them were REAL, I would be the guy following up on those issues!
whoever the Webmaster is, Leave my name and contact up, I don't think anyone is served with just negative comments...especially when they are untrue

Forget about my comment about NEOSET Furniture below; the sales process was good, but they don't deliver on their promises!!! I ordered my stuff early March, and was promised that I would get them in 8 weeks. It's now week 15 and I still don't have a delivery date set!
Called the store and even walked in, all I got was "We'll call you back", of course, they never called back.
I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

The sales staff at Pavilion may be knowledable & freindly but the after sales service is non-existent. The girls I dealt with when inquiring about the status of my sofa were abrasive & rude. On my last call they confirmed that my sofa had arrived BUT refused to give details of delivery until I came in to the store to pay the remaining balance. Wow..what unbelievable service. And the fabric swatch they contiunally promised me never materialized.

GENERAL TIP. Most stores on Queen (BLVD, Urban Barn, Pavillion, Urban Mode, and several on King & King West (Visitor Parking, Casalife) are merely resellers of furniture. One such company was SohoConcepts.com which only deals with trade/retailers so I jotted down the brand and model of the item I was looking for and found www.realtimefurniture.com that will deal with retail customers.
The SohoConcept Divan Sectional sofa (fabric) was listed at BLVD for $2399 while it's $1999!

BLVD Interiors is a great place to shop for furniture. I bought several pieces from them and have no complaints. The staff are courteous and knowledgeable and the quality of the furniture is good. I know two other friends of mine who also bought their furniture from BLVD and they are both very satisfied.

Help!! required - purchased a shallow glass box coffee table from Pavillion - there is a threaded insert on the understide to take the 4 wheels (legs) that never showed up and Pavillion takes no responsibility as (others) delivered ie. their recommended delivery people. Wheels never found and Pavillion cannot help as (I) don't have the product number. This is a glass table from China and I assume there are many other stores that carry similar items. Last attemt
with them - downright rude !

The sales consultants at NEOSET at Front and Jarvis are great.
They were very relaxed and knowledgeable with their products and worked under my small budget. I've looked at a lot of furniture stores and this is ONE place I will be going back for my future needs!

How is BLVD Interiors at Queen and Bathurst?
Has anyone purchased furnitures there? I'm thinking of going in that area for my furniture shopping and want to know if it'll be worth it. Thanks!

AVOID URBAN MODE on Queen St. as well! Their customer service is awful. We purchased furniture for delivery a week later (the item was in Toronto). The morning it was due to arrive, they didn't show up. There were no phone calls, no follow-up, no apology and no attempt to fix the situation. We fought for a refund and went to a competitor.
The furniture on Queen can be bought in a number of places - its not original. Go for better service. I'm sick of being at the mercy of crappy retailers.

Pavillion on Queen Street is ABSOLUTELY the worst place to shop for furniture. We purchased $5000 worth of funiture with the expected delivery date of 6-10 weeks. Our furniture did not arrive until 18 WEEKS later! We did not recieve an apology (or a bottle of wine), the staff was rude and they wanted us to pay for shipping. In fact all responsiblity was put on their suppliers in China but come on people, we waited 4.5 months!! Don't waste your time with Pavillion.

After searching High and low for Bar that would fit my very small space, I landed at pavilion in Toronto, there a Manager Philip guided me to a custom made piece that was EXACLY what I was looking for, He worked with me for overall design, got me a price quote in less than a week, and 8 weeks later I have a piece of furniture that is beautiful.
Pavilion has great staff, even their customer service is cheery.
Friends have been referred to Pavilion by me, I think it is a great store.

Pavilion Furniture a Queen street store that cometes with so many stores that look the same.
I ended up buying about $7000.00 worth of furniture there as they had some of (not all) of the best prices but they did have the most informed staff, they were very helpful the weekend manager Phil and the staff especially Paul and Daryn were really top grade sales guys, they all followed up , and even though 1 piece arrived damaged Phil delivered a replacement at no cost!!
I Highly Recommend this store

Dear Sidor, we have just started to subscribe Furniture Stores to our directory. The Search above will only work for the stores, who have already subscribed and provided us with their styles, categories and keywords. Meanwhile you can only use selection by location (on the left side). We hope the Search will start working soon.
