Your NO PICTURES policy is pathetic!!! Your attitude towards customer needs work. I simply went to one of your many competitors on Kennedy Road who were happy to work with me. GOOD LUCK staying in business. It's about the CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE not just PRICE. The Furniture Palace on Kennedy in Scarborough!

A waste of money for the green consumer. Their products are marketed as being chemical free and made of solid wood when in fact the backs of their dressers/ chests and the drawer bottoms are made of MDF (medium density fiberboard) and they do not use solid wood! They use glulam--several long, narrow pieces of wood glued together. They didn't even know the environmental rating of their products (E1-E5).
Vadim Frumin,   North York Ontario 11/19/2012
Terrible service, particularly for Mr. Director. Price much too high, but the choice is yours!
Tracy Waye,   Florence NS 10/24/2012
Had my $4000 sofa set replaced after 3 months for seating with major wrinkles when you get up...delivered a new one and now after 6 months, same issues along with oliing, back cushions sagging etc...company will not replace again for same issues but offering to "repair" which will get me by until my warranty expires!! I will NEVER buy another Trend-Line again!! I have to add that we are not over weight, no young children and take care of everything we own.

We purchased a box spring and mattress Perma Flex and its only three years old and it terrible. Paid alot of money for this and now we really need t0 purchase a new one. I have back problems and when purchasing these find of box spring and mattress though we had a great on for my back but it did nothing for me will never purchase another.

I've purchased few items before from them and now we bought a new and big house, so we decided to go and check all possible good store like modernsense, casa life, visitor parking, boulevard interiors and many more. but when we went back to Furniture House on 1911 dundas street. price range 15% to 30% cheaper then other stores we have been to. Quality is Top of the line, Good quality. very helpful, polite sales people. we spent $40k Must go there and shop.

I am very pleased with the Paula Dean Furniture I purchase at Midtown in Mississauga. The manager and staff were superb. The delivery and set up was excellent. Midtown Furniture gave me the confidence to shop there again. I highly recommend anyone to shop there.
Katherine Williams,   mississauga Ontario 5/3/2011
Sharon, the manager/owner has the worst customer service skills I have ever encountered. Be careful if you buy any furniture from this store. I bought a TV stand and a screw was shoved in to the door to fix a broken hinge which fell out as soon as I moved it. Instead of replacing the $1 hinge that her employee's broke, she was EXTREMELY rude, did not apologize, did not return my calls. I have never been treated so poorly. Beware if you buy anything, make sure you check everything. Horrid manager.
Mary Roberts,   Toronto Ontario 4/11/2011
I bought a sectional from Rawhide it was so beautifully crafted. The Salespeople were so experienced and took the time to explain how my furniture would be constructed. Their warranty on their product surpasses any other company out there. I highly recommend Rawhide to anyone looking for leather furniture.

Very Bad customer service. They are refusing to fix a brand new recliner.

Well made and smartly designed pieces with many unique features. Very knowledgable proprieter. Beautifully stocked and laid out showroom.
J Rogers,   North York Ontario 2/26/2011
Recently visited Frini Furniture. And not finding any real evidence of the furniture I looked at to be from Italy or made in Italy. At best it is of Italian style and of less than good quality. The individual pieces I saw are made in Asia, however the rude and not so intelligent young lady who followed me around continued to boast that if you purchased this made in Italy furniture there is no discount. Italian manufacturers are required to display clearly the made in Italy label. Buyer be aware

I am very happy with the workmanship of the dining set I received from this company. I was able to choose my finish and fabrics as well as added lumbar support on my dining chairs. These options simply are not available in the others stores I visited. I will certainly be going back to finish my living area once the new year arrives.
T Sadeh,   Toronto ON 12/8/2010
I recently purchased a beautiful Dinec dining room table from Pavillion. The sales associates were great and the table was delivered within 6 weeks. No complaints. However, soon after ordering the table I found a store called Dinec, on 2708 Yonge St.I went in and asked for a quote of the exact table and found out that Pavillion was charging me almost $800 more! I was shocked at the mark up and a little disgusted and for that I will never buy at Pavillion again. I learned my lesson.
Catherine P.,   Toronto Ontario 12/7/2010
I have dealt with Frini Furniture for 10 years and have known them to be hands on to all their customers whether they spent money or not. I don't believe that anyone would be told they need to spend 20,000.00 or nothing. This is a furniture store that's been around for 30 years and for a high end store they have the best prices in town for the best quality furniture and I know for a fact they have the best customer service.
Jules Ham,   Toronto ON 12/7/2010
Honestly think that the people who wrote the 2 bad reviews have a personal grudge against this store! I recently made a purchase from this store and found the service to be so good. The staff were so polite and helpful and the product that sofa that I ordered was fantastic. I certainly did not spend a lot of money but they never treated me any different. Seriously people - this is a very professional establishment that I would high recommend!
Chris H,   Toronto ON 11/10/2010
OMG I don't know where to start. I had the worst experience in my life at this furniture store. A guy who works there never keeps his words, gets upset very easily and shouts at you on the phone. He promised us to deliver the furniture we purchased in about 4 to 6 weeks but we have been waiting for more than 10 weeks now. He blames the delay for factory and he tries to justify himself. Never buy anything from this store. Stay away from this store. Very dishonest and worst customer service.
M M,   Toronto ON 11/10/2010
When I got their furniture set from one of the stores, they said the normal delivery time is only 4-6 weeks but it actually took more than 10 weeks. I wrote a complain email but they didn't do anything. Horrible customer service.
donald smith,   hamilton ontario 10/1/2010
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. I WAS EXCITED TO VISIT THIS STORE AS I FOUND THEIR WEDSITE TO BE VERY GOOD. WHEN VISITED THE MANAGER COULD NOT GIVE HIS FULL ATTENTION OR EVEN HIS TIME TO SERVICE US OR EVEN GIVE FACIAL ACKNOWLEGEMENT WHEN ASKED A QUESTION. WE WAKED OUT IN DISGUST. TOO BAD THEY LOST APX A $13.000 sale.

About 20 years ago my aunt purchased a French provincal sofa set it still has the tag on the seat it which reads Ont. Reg.No8647632 it also has a # ca02760 it's in good shape but needs to be uphostered we can't find the material in NL can you help? Thanks Doris
Arnauld Serati,   Mississauga Ontario 9/9/2010
I strongly urge everyone to shop around. Their 'Sale' prices are in fact not great deals at all. There are plenty of other furniture dealers in the GTA who will treat you with respect, be honest with you and offer you a true sale price. They are NOT honest people.
Mark Kowalski,   Mississauga Ontario 8/10/2010
I had a very good experience with Smart Furniture. I bought a luxury leather arm chair there. Selection at the store was very diverse, but still their offer was pretty unique on local furniture market. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. They have pretty girls working there too! I also had my armchair delivered. It wouldn't fit through door to my basement, so the delivery guys quickly took the chair in two pieces, brought down, and put it together. Very professional and quick. Thumbs up!
Godgi Qafarov,   Montreal Quebec 8/7/2010
When I came to visit Toronto, my friends recommended me to pay a visit to the store "Our Furniture". I was surprised to see such a big variety of different furniture for a reasonable price. They delivered the furniture on time, in Montreal! I was really happy about the service, they were very affable! I will definitely come again on my next visit to Toronto.

I received very bad service with Barracuda on Parliament. I would not take the time to write this otherwise. They agreed to frame a picture for me and they not only did not provide me with a frame on the date they agreed but they stained the picture I was needing framed. There was no apology. My picture, an original print, was ruined.

I purchase furniture from New Welco Furniture mart and the delivery was the worst I have ever received. The packing was left all over my front lawn, the items was incomplete and the company refuse to deliver the balance of my furniture, I almost had to call the police to get them to leave my property.I will never deal with them again.
al archer,   london ontario 4/9/2010
Trendline Furniture is over priced furniture, that does not stand up to normal usage/ware. Their service department is not helpful. Better off to buy cheap off shore furniture where you know will have to replace it, not like trendline furniture that you believe are buying quality furniture, since it is made locally. Well you would be wrong. Stay away.

Went in to purchase a sofa set. Was disgusted to hear a tall lanky sales person w/ glasses tell another customer that unless they spent 20k or more, they couldn't really do anything for them. A short while I heard him belittling his mother in front of other customers. I took this as a warning sign indicative of the service i can only imagine they provide. I turned around and walked out completely put off by this behaviour.
Jean-Claude Vandame,   Etobicoke ON 4/1/2010
If you want authentic Italian furniture, look elsewhere. This company buys fine China furniture. Service extremely poor. Owner Richard belittles his Mom in front of customers. Also has no qualms about tellin g you that unless you're spending 20k and up, you'll get nothing from them. They also demand pmt in full before you even inspect their furniture. Been over a month and i'm still waiting for them to fix my furniture. One place you are guaranteed the ring-around. Reporting to the BBB.
Trish Black,   Toronto Ontario 12/12/2009
Leons customer follow-up is complete crap!!! I bought a sofa and loveseat and they arrived damaged. Holes in the leather on the seat area, cuts on the sides and loose stitching. The stuffing in the cushions were minimal so I sank into them. I paid $2500 for both (Natuzzi's Italsofa). I called and they replaced them the next week with other defective ones. The delivery guys even cut the sofa with their box cutter. They left and said you have 3 days to complain! I am still waiting 3 weeks later!

Pretty satified with my purchase experience with Real Time Furniture. After seeing them on craigslist, went to visit showroom. Ordered a king bed based on online photo. The bed received 1 week later was not exact-padded headboard fabric is in a microfibre instead of pu material. Rep offered me options or free delivery if we went with existing bed. We went with the microfibre bed afterall and are extremely happy with the quality of the bed and service follow thro overall. I'd buy from them again
Mina J,   North York Ontario 8/26/2009
Words of caution...DON'T BUY FROM REALTIMEFURNITURE!! Ordered a bed after searching through their website and looking through their showroom. Website had the incorrect picture of bed, so do not trust images for placing orders. Ordered bed after clarifying with rep that it needs to be received within a specific timeframe as I would be leaving the country. Received a call 1 week later telling me they wont even know if the bed will be in stock at the pre-determined time of delivery! Attempted to cancel order, but realtimefurniture will not provide refunds. Initially agreed to refund visa, but went back on word and would only provide store credit. Buyer beware, terrible customer service, misleading policies, and absolutely unwilling to honour commitments. Worst furniture shopping experience ever.
Kevin o,   Toronto ON 8/13/2009
Nice stuff - but DON'T SHOP HERE! THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN TORONTO! Paid full $$ & deposit, $5k for sofa & hutch. The inv. does state delivery could take 8-12 wks, @ 10wks, we were rudely reminded that the inv says 8-12 wks. Not a single courtesy call to apologize/explain the delay. "Stuff happens" but tell your customers! The sofa arrivd @ 16 wks. The hutch arrived, damaged, @ 18 wks and now 3 mos after delivery we're still seeking replacement or compensation for damage.
Upset Customer,   Mississauga Ontario 6/19/2009
Hausenbarn in Mississsauga has the worst customer service in all of the GTA. The "owner" - blonde and RUDE -she her took my order over the phone with my credit card. There was a miscomunication about the number of counter stools I ordered. I ordered 2 stools. When I went to the store to pick these up, she told me my 3 stools were ready. I explained that I only ordered 2 stools - she proceeded to argue with me after putting through the transaction, refused to return the stool and ordered me out.

Dear Julia, On the first page of our website we state that: We'll try to have almost all GTA's Furniture Stores in our directory, searchable by location. However only Stores that became Members in the ATF Directory will have a Profile Page, Map Link, Website Link, Flyer and Coupon and will be searchable using Search Parameters on top of the page. We offer a free trial membership, however the store owners are too busy to provide the info we need.
Julia Smith,   Toronto Ontario 8/19/2008
Sorry to be a grouse - but - I could not find one store using your search engine with criteria. No matter what I typed, I got 0 hits. Example: Took Downtown (Toronto) for location, refined search category Dining, style Antique - no stores with that criteria - yeah right. Back to Google.

I was disappointed to see that my response to complaints about Pavilion was removed by?. I am the Weekend Manager at this store and the parties that complain do not have valid complaints, sorry to say that! I could address the complaints again, but suffice it to say that if any of them were REAL, I would be the guy following up on those issues! whoever the Webmaster is, Leave my name and contact up, I don't think anyone is served with just negative comments...especially when they are untrue
Roger Choi,   Toronto ON 6/16/2008
Forget about my comment about NEOSET Furniture below; the sales process was good, but they don't deliver on their promises!!! I ordered my stuff early March, and was promised that I would get them in 8 weeks. It's now week 15 and I still don't have a delivery date set! Called the store and even walked in, all I got was "We'll call you back", of course, they never called back. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!
R AY,   Toronto ONT 6/11/2008
The sales staff at Pavilion may be knowledable & freindly but the after sales service is non-existent. The girls I dealt with when inquiring about the status of my sofa were abrasive & rude. On my last call they confirmed that my sofa had arrived BUT refused to give details of delivery until I came in to the store to pay the remaining balance. Wow..what unbelievable service. And the fabric swatch they contiunally promised me never materialized.
Gus Andersen,   Toronto Ontario 5/27/2008
GENERAL TIP. Most stores on Queen (BLVD, Urban Barn, Pavillion, Urban Mode, and several on King & King West (Visitor Parking, Casalife) are merely resellers of furniture. One such company was SohoConcepts.com which only deals with trade/retailers so I jotted down the brand and model of the item I was looking for and found www.realtimefurniture.com that will deal with retail customers. The SohoConcept Divan Sectional sofa (fabric) was listed at BLVD for $2399 while it's $1999!
sabrina musilli,   toronto on 4/14/2008
BLVD Interiors is a great place to shop for furniture. I bought several pieces from them and have no complaints. The staff are courteous and knowledgeable and the quality of the furniture is good. I know two other friends of mine who also bought their furniture from BLVD and they are both very satisfied.
david yuhasz,   toronto ont 3/13/2008
Help!! required - purchased a shallow glass box coffee table from Pavillion - there is a threaded insert on the understide to take the 4 wheels (legs) that never showed up and Pavillion takes no responsibility as (others) delivered ie. their recommended delivery people. Wheels never found and Pavillion cannot help as (I) don't have the product number. This is a glass table from China and I assume there are many other stores that carry similar items. Last attemt with them - downright rude !
Roger Choi,   Toronto ON 3/2/2008
The sales consultants at NEOSET at Front and Jarvis are great. They were very relaxed and knowledgeable with their products and worked under my small budget. I've looked at a lot of furniture stores and this is ONE place I will be going back for my future needs!
Roger Choi,   Toronto ON 2/29/2008
How is BLVD Interiors at Queen and Bathurst? Has anyone purchased furnitures there? I'm thinking of going in that area for my furniture shopping and want to know if it'll be worth it. Thanks!
R MH,   Toronto Ontario 2/12/2008
AVOID URBAN MODE on Queen St. as well! Their customer service is awful. We purchased furniture for delivery a week later (the item was in Toronto). The morning it was due to arrive, they didn't show up. There were no phone calls, no follow-up, no apology and no attempt to fix the situation. We fought for a refund and went to a competitor. The furniture on Queen can be bought in a number of places - its not original. Go for better service. I'm sick of being at the mercy of crappy retailers.
Eva Chui,   Toronto Ontario 2/3/2008
Pavillion on Queen Street is ABSOLUTELY the worst place to shop for furniture. We purchased $5000 worth of funiture with the expected delivery date of 6-10 weeks. Our furniture did not arrive until 18 WEEKS later! We did not recieve an apology (or a bottle of wine), the staff was rude and they wanted us to pay for shipping. In fact all responsiblity was put on their suppliers in China but come on people, we waited 4.5 months!! Don't waste your time with Pavillion.
Maxine Strom,   Keswick Ontario 12/11/2007
After searching High and low for Bar that would fit my very small space, I landed at pavilion in Toronto, there a Manager Philip guided me to a custom made piece that was EXACLY what I was looking for, He worked with me for overall design, got me a price quote in less than a week, and 8 weeks later I have a piece of furniture that is beautiful. Pavilion has great staff, even their customer service is cheery. Friends have been referred to Pavilion by me, I think it is a great store. Max
Alex Kee,   Toronto Ontario 12/11/2007
Pavilion Furniture a Queen street store that cometes with so many stores that look the same. I ended up buying about $7000.00 worth of furniture there as they had some of (not all) of the best prices but they did have the most informed staff, they were very helpful the weekend manager Phil and the staff especially Paul and Daryn were really top grade sales guys, they all followed up , and even though 1 piece arrived damaged Phil delivered a replacement at no cost!! I Highly Recommend this store
